The 33rd annual Taste of the Valley has been postponed due to the threat of illness, according to event organizer Quay Lively.  

Lively said while there will be no refunds for tickets – purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled event. 

Taste of the Valley annually invites attendees to sample the various fares of restaurants from across the Tennessee Valley. Funds raised benefit the variety of programs the Morgan County Volunteer Center offers, including providing heating and cooling units for the elderly, building wheelchair ramps, helping local children and teens at Christmas and more.  

More than 30 vendors are signed up for this year’s event.
