Hartselle wins two state titles at the Indoor Track and Field State Championships
BIRMINGHAM – The Hartselle Indoor Track and Field team won two titles at the Indoor State Championships.
Senior Hawken Foote won the 6A 800-meter state title Friday with a time of 1:58.57. He finished ahead of runners from Homewood and Pelham.
The 4×400–meter relay team won the gold medal by defeating teams from Northridge and Opelika. The team, comprising members Will Benham, Devron Turney, Hunter Driver, and Hawken Foote, finished in a time of 3:29.85, which was 0.53 seconds ahead of Northridge, which finished in 3:30.85.
