Non–profit agencies in Morgan County are now eligible to receive funds through the Emergency Food and Shelter Program.  

Charitable organizations that provide food in the form of served meals or groceries; lodging in a mass shelter; hotel, rent or mortgage assistance; or utility assistance can apply to receive these funds.  

An open meeting will be held Feb. 4 at the United Way building, 115 First Ave., in Decatur. The meeting, which is free to attend, will begin at 11:15 a.m. and requires registration.
