ASWA Girls Basketball Rankings: Jan. 16

Two girls teams in the Hartselle Enquirer coverage area are ranked in this week’s Alabama Sports Writers Association High School Basketball rankings.

Priceville improved to 13-8 on the season and 4-0 in area play following a victory over West Morgan on Tuesday night. The Lady Bulldogs moved up to No. 4 in 4A after being ranked No. 5 last week.

Falkville stays at No. 10 in 1A this week. They have a record of 15-5 and 6-1 in Area 13 play. They play area rival, No. 6 Decatur Heritage tonight for the area regular-season title.

Austin, 7A No. 6, is the only other Morgan County team to be ranked. They moved up one spot from last week.

Austin, 7th in 7A, and Decatur Heritage, 6th in 1A, are the other Morgan County teams that are ranked.
