Hartselle moves to 13-3 with win over Priceville

The Hartselle Tigers head into Christmas break with a 13-3 record following their 76-48 win over Priceville on Friday night.

The Tigers jumped out to an 18-2 lead to start the game and never looked back. They led 27-11 after one and extended their lead to 49-29 at halftime.

Hartselle continued to build on their lead in the second half as they outscored the Bulldogs 27-19 to secure the 76-48 victory.

“Glad to get to the break with a victory,” said Hartselle coach Faron Key. “We now get to take some much needed time off following a tough couple of weeks.”

Hartselle (13-3) was led by Brody Peebles, who finished with 20 points. Jackson Boyer added a season-high 11 points while Tad Sivley had 10 points and nine rebounds.

Priceville (2-11) was led by Seth Hood, who finished with a game-high 28 points, while Dylan Fry added seven.
