A special thank you to our veterans

I want to say a very special thank you this week to all of our veterans, for without all of you, we would not have all the freedoms we enjoy today in the United States of America, the greatest country in the world.

I also want to remember my grandfather, Audie Collins, who served in World War II in the Navy, and my dad, John Ward Jr., who served in Korea. I am proud to be the daughter and granddaughter of veterans.

God Bless America. Please shake the hand of a veteran and say, “Thank you for your service.”
