Woman involved in ‘intentional’ accident on Eva Road

A woman who was ejected from a car on Eva Road had to be airlifted to the hospital yesterday, and now agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office are saying the wreck was not an accident.

According to a press release, investigators with the Criminal Investigation Division and Special Victims Unit responded to the scene yesterday around noon after Alabama State Troopers determined that the accident was intentional and have arrested Grant Varner, 31, of Eva with a  felony charge for domestic abuse and assault in the second degree.
