Swann, Camp to wed May 18

Mr. and Mrs. Billy Vann Swann of Hartselle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Claire Swann, to Riley William Camp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Dale Camp of Decatur.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Lamar Batchelor of Decatur, Mrs. Linda Crumpton Swann of Haleyville, the late Mrs. Linda Howell Batchelor of Decatur and Mr. Billy Vann Swann of Haleyville.

Miss Swann is a 2015 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2018 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. She is a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and the Phi Alpha Honor Society. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in social work from The University of Alabama.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Sidney Camp and Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Landtroop of Athens.
Mr. Camp is a 2014 graduate of Austin High School and a 2018 cum laude graduate of The University of Alabama in Huntsville with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry. He was a three-year member of the Charger baseball team. He is currently attending The University of Alabama Birmingham School of Optometry.

The wedding is planned for May 18, 2019, at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle.
