Funeral service for Jimmy East, 59, was Feb. 23 at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Morrow and Bro. Leon Holt officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in Fields Cemetery.

Mr. East died Feb. 19 at his residence. He was born Dec. 5, 1958, in Madison County to Clinnon East and Elna Brown East. He was employed as a mobile home installer for East Mobile Homes prior to his retirement.

East is survived by fiancée Anita Cochran; one son, James East (Brittany); five daughters,

Tonya East, Amber Morgan, Emerald Yoder, Crystal Satterfield (Matthew) and Carla Leverette; parents Clinnon and Elna East; three sisters, Rhonda Thompson, Teresa Hulsey and Carol Amaya (Rick); 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Jerry Hamilton, Andy Allen, John East, Chris East, Greg East and David Grantland.
