Deborah Cole Herrera

Funeral service for Deborah Cole Herrera, 62, of Hartselle, was Dec. 29 at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Johnathan Cole and the Rev. Danny Pitts officiating and Peck Funeral Home
directing.
Ms. Herrera died Dec. 23 at UAB’s Palliative Care Unit. She was born Nov. 8, 1955, in Morgan County to
John Frank Cole and Laverne Waddell Moody. She was the office manager for Herrera’s Towing
Service. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include one son, Shane Robinson; one daughter, Stephanie Jones; four stepdaughters; her
mother, Laverne Waddell Moody; one brother, Johnathan Cole; and sisters Patsy Cole and Johna
Junkins.
