Funeral service for Beverly Durand, 70, of Hartselle was Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jon Allen Stanley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in Herring Cemetery.

Mrs. Durand died Dec. 14 at her residence. She was born May 10, 1947, in Cullman County to Claude Johnson and Emma Rogers Johnson. Beverly was married to her husband, Mike Durand, for 52 years. She was the office manager and part-owner of Mike’s Brake and Alignment in Hartselle. She attended Forrest Hill Baptist Church in Somerville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dennis and James (J.R.) Johnson; and a sister, Ina J Beck.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Durand; two sons, Russell Durand (Julie) and Jon Durand; one brother, Hal Johnson; one sister, Shirley Frost; five grandchildren, Briley Durand, Alec Durand, Dillon Durand, Lauren Brock (Seth) and Dillon Langford.

Pallbearers were William Partlow, Rodney Johnson, Danny Slaten, Eric Johnson, Danny Johnson and Weston Shelton.
