Funeral service for Aulton Andrew Stewart, 88, of Huntsville was Dec. 18 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anthony Patterson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was Red Oak

Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart died Dec. 15 at Floyd “Tutt” Fann Veterans Home. He was born Oct. 28, 1929, in Lawrence County to Andrew Stewart and Mary Pearl Fuller Stewart. He was self-employed as a mechanic and also worked for UPS. He was a longtime resident of Hartselle and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Wanda Laverne Culbreath, Mary Sharpe Stewart and Kytha Stewart; his daughter: Kathy Wilson; three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne Sharpe, Nashville, Tenn., and Robert S. Stewart, Decatur; three daughters, Janice Blankenship, Griffin, Ga., Deborah Tedder, Arab, and Rita Athley, Decatur; one brother, Preston Stewart, Trinity; one sister, Clara Jenkins, Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Christopher Blankenship, Ricky Watwood, Shannon Wilson, Matthew Stewart, Kane Watwood and James Avery Wilson.
