Hartselle Library News

Library offers extensive resources
Hello from your library! There are so many new things happening at the library. I feel like I just need to start a list!
First of all, we have DVDs. We currently have 281 DVDs covering a wide variety of interests and most popular movies (ratings G to PG-13). We are also still accepting donations of DVDs in their original cases in good condition with ratings of G to PG-13.
We have moved our Preschool Story & Craft Time to Wednesdays at 11 a.m. It is geared mostly for 3-4-year-olds, but younger ones are welcome to come and participate as much as they can. It’s never too early to start that love of library. I love to see them and watch how much fun they have visiting us.
We have started an After School Kid’s Club Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 p.m. Come spend about an hour with us exploring our world in different ways. You might find out how to make eggs float, how to build marble maze, or who Ada Lovelace was – and have fun doing it.
We also have a shipment of new books children through adult. We are sharing a list of a few of our newest additions. We also added a couple new graphic novels and will be adding to our sci-fi and nonfiction sections next month.
Come see us at the library, and don’t forget we also have free e-books and audiobooks through Camilla Net. All you need is a library card!
See you soon at the library.
