Funeral for Zippria Reno Butler Tanksley, 95, was Sat., Sept. 30, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nathan Green and Bro. Phillip Robinson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in New Hope North Cemetery.

Mrs. Tanksley died Thur., Sept. 28, 2017 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Blount County to Frances Napoleon Reno and Molly (Woods) Reno. She was a homemaker and before her retirement was employed with the Lurleen B. Wallace Center. She was a Baptist in her faith and a member of the Pine Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands John Buford Butler and Marvin Tanksley; a daughter, Jean Butler and two grandsons, Gregory and Tony Creel.

Survivors include three sons, Tim Butler of Falkville, Kenneth Butler of Falkville and
Terry Butler of Falkville; three daughters, JoAnn Montgomery of Hartselle, Nelladean Green (Pat) of Falkville and Sandra Childers of Eva; three brothers,
Troy Reno of Jasper, Danny Reno of Trafford and Donnie Reno of Trafford; a sister,
Roxie Luker of Prattville; 27 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
