Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church, many hands will be needed for the 3rd annual Hands on Hartselle and Beyond event. This day of service will take place on Sun., Oct. 1. The event is a way for area churches to come together and meet the needs of individuals while connecting with the community. Some of the projects scheduled for the day include working at area schools and pantries, visiting nursing homes and volunteering at the Disaster Warehouse. Fairview Independent Baptist Church, 4511 Danville Rd. SW, Decatur, AL, holds a Crafts Class every Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to noon. It is held in the Grace Resource Center library on the first floor. You may bring any craft you wish.
