Funeral for Vera I. Dunlap Brown Miller, 93, was Sat., Aug. 19, 2017 at noon at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rob Jackson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller died Sun., Aug. 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born Oct. 23, 1923, in Morgan County to Newell Dunlap and Mamie Vest Dunlap.  She was employed in the Coffee Shop in Decatur General Hospital for several years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Decatur and was preceded in death by two husbands, Ralph L. Brown, Sr. and Lewis Miller; an infant daughter, Shirley Brown and a brother, James Dunlap.

Survivors include a son, Ralph L. Brown, Jr. of Decatur; a brother,
Tommie L. Dunlap (Linda) of Decatur; three grandchildren,
Brian Dwayne Brown, Scotty Lindel Brown and John Hand and three great-grandchildren, Brayden Brown, Brooklyn Brown and Aliyah Hand.

Pallbearers were Mike Dunlap, Jeff Dunlap, John Albert, Brian Brown,
Scotty Brown and John Hand.
