Graveside service and interment for Ollie Mae Betterton, 78, was Mon., Aug. 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. at McKendree Cemetery with Bro. Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Betterton died Sat., Aug. 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 24, 1939, in Michigan to Hugh James Anderson and Gladys May Atherton Anderson. She was a Nurses Aide for a nursing home prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Gladys Brown and Deborah Myers and her son, Robert Hitt.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Hitt of Danville and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Barry Brown, Gary Brown, Jimmy Myers, Josh Myers, Patrick Hitt, and Mike Brown.
