Library hours at Falkville Public Library are Monday through Friday from 8 until 12. Closed from 12 until 1 p.m. for lunch. Reopen at 1 p.m. and close at 5 p.m.

Falkville Citizen Senior Center was the setting for a Halloween party Fri., Oct. 28. The party room was decorated with a Halloween theme. A costume event was held. There was a three-way tie for first place. Bobbie came dressed as a pirate, Carol Cole came dressed as an Alabama football fan and Mary Larock dressed as a nurse.

Robert Morris was honored on his birthday with a cake. Among those attending were Faye Anders, Martha Asherbranner, Martha Garrison, Adell Gibson, Joe Collins, Judy McCellan, Charles and Linda Williams and Eugene Green.

Ray and Betty Sanders, Howard and Helen Gibson, Bob and Charlotte Wise and Sarah Hadley Gaines were seen at Libby’s Restaurant at Priceville eating with the 1952 graduates of Falkville High School.

Ray and Betty Sanders, Ralph and Mary Alice Nelson, Howard and Helen Gibson, Eva Stinson, Kathy Gay and Wilma Depreast met November 1 at Libby’s Restaurant in Priceville for lunch.
