October 7 was already a huge date for the Hartselle Tigers football program. The Tigers are set to take on the Austin Black Bears in what will be a key region game for both teams. This game will also serve as the Hartselle Tiger’s Homecoming game for 2016. However, to make the night even more special, a celebration of the Hartselle Tigers football program has been scheduled.

Hartselle is celebrating 100 years of Hartselle football this year and so to commemorate that, players of previous Hartselle teams will be honored before the game. The community is asking for any former player of Hartselle High School (or the former Morgan County High School) to please meet at J.P. Cain Stadium in the North End zone by 6:15 on Oct., 7. Players will be recognized by the decades in which they played.
