Zuck and Bili shine as Hartselle rolls over competition

It’s been safe to say that Hartselle volleyball team has been on quite the roll this season. Hartselle improved their record to 45-8 last week and along the way, Megan Zuck earned her 2,000th career kill. Meanwhile, Gabrielle earned her 3,000th assist.

Hartselle got last week started off right as they defeated Good Hope (25-5, 25-16) and Cullman (25-21, 25-15). Zuck and Hanserd led the team with 19 and 18 kills respectively.

Later in the week the Tigers got wins over Austin (25-19, 25-19, 25-15) and Athens (25-17, 25-17). Hanserd had 22 kills while Bili had 67 assists. Jordan Finn finished with 15 digs.

To finish out the week, Hartselle competed in the Danville tournament. Hartselle went 4-1 in the tournament with their only loss being to Bayside.

HHS defeated Lawrence Co 25-17, 25-1, Winston Co 27-25, 25-22, Plainview 25-12, 25-21, Crossville 25-10, 25-14. Bayside defeated Hartselle in gold bracket 25-18, 16-25, 17-15.
