Priceville falls short of first win

It’s been a tough season for the Priceville Bulldogs as they’ve dealt with the loss of 23 seniors. The Bulldogs have been on the losing end of every game so far, but looked primed to get their first win of the season against Vinemont. That is until Vinemont mounted a comeback.

Blake Shear put the Bulldogs on the board with a 22-yard touchdown run and then quarterback David Strunk added two touchdowns, one through the air and one on the ground, to put Priceville up 21-14 at halftime. Strunk added another rushing touchdown in the third quarter to put the Bulldogs up 28-14. However, Vinemont then scored 21 unanswered points, which included a go-ahead 23-yard run, to take the lead 35-28. Vinemont sealed the deal by stopping the Bulldogs on fourth down to end the game and keep Priceville winless on the season. Priceville will host Rogers this Friday.
