Funeral for Peggy Waits Widner, 64, of Decatur was Wed., Sept. 28, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Sanders and Bro. Brad Doss officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Burningtree Memorial  Gardens.
Mrs. Widner died Mon., Sept. 26, 2016, at her residence.  She was
born March 13, 1952, in Lawrence County to James Anderson Waits and Elsie Lackey Waits.  She worked in outside sales for Forbes Distributing, Co. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Widner; two sons, Steve Widner and Donnie Widner (Angela), both of Virginia; three daughters, Kim Johnson Persons of Madison, Cynthia Johnson Kennedy of Decatur and Madison Widner of Priceville; three brothers, Ray Waits of Moulton,
and Jake Waits and Buddy Waits (Barbara), both of Priceville; four sisters, Polly Nelson (J.P.) and Betty Allen (Donald), both of Decatur, Helen McBride of Toney and Doris Goree of Huntsville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Greg Nelson, Stanley McMahan, Shane McMahan, Tony Allen,Toney Waites and Eric Crow.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Gentiva Hospice at 615 1st Avenue SW, Suite B, Cullman, AL 35055.
