Tigers win Brooks tournament

The Hartselle Tigers competed in the Brooks volleyball tournament this past weekend and came home with the win after defeating six other teams. The Tigers defeated Lauderdale County 25-17 and 25-11, Arab 25-23 and 25-18, Deshler 25-19 and 25-20, Brewer 25-12 and 25-14, Lexington 26-24 and 25-16 and Alexandria 25-16 and 25-12.

Megan Zuck and Hayden Hanserd led the team in kills with 63 and 52 respectively. Jordan Finn had 32 kills while Lexie Smith and Britni Bell each had 26. Maggie Anderson and Jordan Finn led the team with 34 and 33 digs while Zuck had 28. Gabrielle Bili had the most assist with 188 while Hanserd led the team with 11 blocks. Finn finished with 9 aces.
