Blackmon writes for Enquirer 61 years

Members of First Baptist Church Falkville young women were hostess at a baby shower for Jillian Smith Sun., Aug. 21. The party was held at the fellowship hall of the church. The party table was spread with a white lace cloth over a pink cloth.

Baby gray and pink elephants were used to decorate the party room. The honoree and her guests were served punch and cupcakes.

Guatemala Missions of Fairview: The Grace Church conducted a dove hunt at Alan Summerford home Sept. 17, from 12 p.m. until dark. Lunch was provided.

Jeanne Gibson-Blackmon started writing the Falkville News for the Hartselle Enquirer 61 years ago Sept. 15.
