A graveside service for Jack Evon Winton, 77, of Somerville will be Tues., Aug. 2, at 2 p.m. at New Friendship Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. No Visitation is scheduled.

Mr. Winton died Sat., July 30, 2016, at his residence. He was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Morgan County to Louie Marvin Winton and Mattie Eliza Vaughn. He was retired after working for Monsanto for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Mae Moses Winton; two daughters, Vanessa Michele Winton Slaten (Ted) and Tiffany LaBeth Winton Crow (Tim); five grandchildren, Jordan MacKenzie Crow, Timothy Justin Crow, Jacob Kyle Crow, Joshua Charles Slaten and Maegan Elizabeth Slaten Biehn; two great-grandchildren, Adelynne Khloe Powers and Timothy Kardyn Crow.
