Falkville High School Class of 1957 met for lunch Tues., June 28, at Oh! Bryan’s Restaurant in Hartselle.

Those class members enjoying lunch together were Arthur Ray and Barbara Summerford, Edward and Merle Higdon, Bill and Jane Minter Padgett, Bobby Glen Staples, Billy Joe and Lois Nell Williams Pickens, Bobby Childers, Ola Mae Wright Coleman, Allen Holmes, Marie Anders Odom, Joe and Carolyn Murphy, John Knight, Katie Sue Hardin, and Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Culbreath.

The class members would like to extend thoughts and prayers to the family of Aubrey Davenport, our class member, who died July 5. We will miss him.

Birthday wishes are extended to Kay Farrer from Falkville Public Library Board. Her special day was July 8.

Victory Fellowship Church, 409 East Pike Road in Falkville announces service times Sunday’s at 10 a.m. for worship and children’s church Wednesday night’s at 7 p.m. Bible studies for all ages. The first and third Sunday nights meet at 6 p.m. The 29th anniversary service will be Aug. 28.

Victory Fellowship Church birthdays for July are Jeremy Ricks, July 7; Dennis Berry July 14; Franklin Johnson, July 16; Debra Berry and Marion Zubnold, July 21.

Happy anniversary to Mark and Grenella Carroll on July 24.

First Baptist Church will host the 5th Sunday Singing July 31, at 6 p.m.

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 287 Mt. Carmel Road in Eva welcomes The Glory Road Quartet, Sun., July 31. Mt. Carmel is also having a movie night, Aug. 4, with the movie

Investigators showing at 5 p.m.

Margaret Murphy enjoyed a week of visiting with her son Brian, daughter-in law Carol, and granddaughter Autumn in Tuscaloosa recently. They enjoyed putting their garden harvest in the freezer, wonderful food, laughs and just hanging out all week with Autumn.
