Funeral for Linda Harris, 73, of Somerville will be Wed., (today), July 20, at 11 a.m. at Cotaco United Methodist Church with Bro. John Smith officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Antioch Methodist Church.

Mrs. Harris died Sun., July 17, 2016, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born March 28, 1943, in Morgan County to Cicero Fount Johnson and Lois Ella Johnson. She loved her family very much, and had two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She was very close to her sisters and all of her nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of Cotaco Methodist Church and was raised in Somerville as a member of Antioch Methodist Church. She worked at SCI in Huntsville for 29 years prior to retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Harris; her parents; two brothers, James and Iley Johnson and a sister, Iris Jackson.

She is survived by a daughter, Tami Schoenberger (Ricky) of Somerville; two sisters, Jean Windsor (Vandon) of Decatur and Geraldine Garner of Somerville; two grandchildren, Anna Parker (Kenney) and Cole Schoenberger (Meghan); and five great-grandchildren, Kain Parker, Kobe Parker, Kasen Parker, Kira Schoenberger and Karlie Schoenberger.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Schoenberger, Cole Schoenberger, Kenney Parker, Paul Schoenberger, Wayne Allen and Tommy Garner.
