Funeral for Shirley Dale-Turney Asherbranner, 71, of Hartselle was Thur., July 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Compton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Cook Cemetery.

Mrs. Asherbranner died Mon., July 11, 2016, at her residence. She was born Sept. 1, 1944, in Roane County, Tenn., to Joseph and Christine Fitzpatrick. She was retired from Charter Communications. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Turney; a brother, Robert Fitzpatrick; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Asherbranner; a daughter, Beth Asherbranner Morris; a brother, Wayne Fitzpatrick (Debbie); six sisters, Margie Clay, Jo Wilma Harvey, Frances Harvey, Elnora Patterson, Peggy Hill and Jean Templin; and two granddaughters, Jessica Morris and Lilly Grace Asherbranner.

Pallbearers were nephews.
