A graveside service for Christeen Wilhite Blevins, 80, of Falkville was Thur., July 14, at 2 p.m. at Corinth West Cemetery in Cullman County, with Bro. James Blackwood officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Blevins died Wed., July 13, 2016, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1936, in Cullman County to Silas Riley Wilhite and Ethel Powell Wilhite. She was a homemaker, a wonderful cook, and a very good seamstress that loved to sew. She was a member of Corinth

West Baptist Church and had a very good heart, always concerned about others and their well-being. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Blevins; her parents; a grandson, Dusty Carter; son-in-law, Jeff Reid; two brothers: Athel and Glen Wilhite; and a sister, Zula Elam.

She is survived by three daughters, Anita Reid, Becky Carter (Tim) and Angie Barnett (Chuck); two sisters, Willodean Hale (Jackie) and Patsy Farley; three grandchildren, Christi Hunter (Eric), Emily Latham (Matt) and Erin Wynn (Bobby); three great-grandchildren, Carter Latham, Walker Latham and Chloe Wynn.

Pallbearers were Tim Carter, Chuck Barnett, Matt Latham, Bobby Wynn, Carter Latham and Walker Latham.
