Funeral for Mike Lang, 47, of Somerville was Fri., June 17, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Crawford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Lang died Mon., June 13, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 11, 1969, in Michigan to Charles Denver Lang and Maxine Kay Westover Lang. He was a construction worker and carpenter. He loved football and baseball and enjoyed coaching and helping kids. He was a loving father and family was an important part of his life. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Kari Smith.

He is survived by a son, Zack Self; two daughters, Brooke Lang and Faith Hellier; his mother, Maxine Westover Lang; four brothers, James Lang, Josh Lang, William Lang and Colby Crawford; four sisters, Teresa Williams, Tracy Ellwanger, Wendi Rice and Jessy Crawford; and a grandson, Qua Augustin.
