First Baptist Church Falkville will conduct a vacation Bible school June 20-24, for four year old through sixth grade students. The hours are from 5 to 8 p.m.

Items needed for VBS are empty toilet tissue and paper towel rolls, Mason jar lids and soup cans. For more information, phone 256-784-5827.

Services at First Baptist Church Falkville are Sunday school 9:15 a.m. morning worship at 10:30 a.m., adult prayer and Bible study Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The minister of music is Ken James, the pianist is Patricia Ramey and the organist is Sylvia Halbrooks.

Howard and Helen Gibson, Franklin and Sue Harrison, Scott and Betty Parker, Bob and Charlotte Wise, Ray and Betty Sanders, Sarah Hadley Gaines and Shirley Cooper were seen dining at Libby’s Restaurant in Priceville Saturday.

Margaret Murphy would like to send big congratulations to Autumn Brooke Murphy of Tuscaloosa for making the Jr. Volleyball Team and Jr. Basketball and football cheerleader. She attends Tuscaloosa Christian Academy and is the daughter of Brian and Carol Murphy. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Murphy and the late Oneal Murphy of Falkville and Betty Knight and the late Willis Knight of Cold Springs, Cullman County.

The family of Thad and Bea Powell Murphy had a family reunion the fourth Sunday in May at Sportsman Lake in Cullman. Those attending was Tony and Tammy Murphy Simmons, Kim Murphy Butler, Caleb Butler, Kelly and Cailee Couey, Glenda Shea, wife of deceased Oden Murphy, Kay Murphy Blevins, Justin, Codie, Jedidah and Gunner Westmoreland, John, Terena, Karli and Kane Uselton, Lily Oden, Gerald and Thelma Murphy Harris, all of Cullman County; Brian, Carol and Autumn Murphy of Tuscaloosa; Margaret Murphy, wife of the late Oneal Murphy, Lynn Dean, Susie Murphy Dean and Summer Dean, Jodie, Becky, Preston and Payton Murphy, Earl and Connie Murphy, all of Morgan County; Patrick, Brandie, Cooper Frayne and Tucker Murphy of Madison County. There was tons of food, fun, laughter and shared memories.

Happy Birthday wishes go out to Autumn Brooke Murphy who celebrates her 14th birthday on June 10. She is the daughter of Brian and Carol Knight Murphy and the granddaughter of Margaret Murphy and the late Oneal Murphy and Betty Suggs Knight and the late Willis Knight.
