Beverly A. Woodard

A graveside service for Beverly A. Woodard, 57, of Hartselle was Sun., June 12, at 2:30 p.m. at Johnson Cemetery in Speake with Bro. Terry Nappier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Woodard died Fri., June 10, 2016, at her residence. She was born Oct. 9, 1958, in Morgan County to George Hardin and Wilma Wilson Hardin. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife of 38 years. She treated all people with dignity and grace. Beverly had two biological sons and a number of children she treated as her own. She was always there for guidance to all her boys whether it be a shoulder to cry on or a voice of reason, always making sure everyone else was taken care of before herself. She was a nutritional worker for the Morgan County School System. Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Denise White.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Woodard; two sons, Brian Woodard (Brandee) and Jason Woodard (Cierra); a brother, Mike Hardin; and a grandchild, Cole Lee Woodard.

Pallbearers were Brian Woodard, Jason Woodard, Chris Harrison, Chris McLemore, Blair Davis and Brad Wade.
