Falkville senior citizens meet for lunch at KFC

Eating breakfast at Libby’s Restaurant at Priceville Saturday were Ray and Betty Sanders, Franklin and Sue Harrison, Howard and Helen Gibson and Kenneth and Betty Harper. Also, sharing the good food and fellowship were Sarah Hadley Gaines, Scotty and Betty Parker, Bob and Charlotte Wise and Jean Vice Harrison.

Ray and Betty Sanders drove to Seattle, Wash., and met a cruise ship for a 21-day cruise to Alaska. They met in Seattle with Wilma Depreast Melba Nelson, Kathy Gray, Keith and Kristie Huffstucler and their son, Justin, to continue their cruise.

Owen Teague celebrated his 10th birthday Sept. 27 with his grandfather, Delane McCormick. Owen had his birthday party on Sept. 28 at the home of his grandparents, Delane and Darlene McCormick. Pizza, cake and ice cream were served to the guests, his parents, Michael and Danielle Teague, his brother, Eli Teague, Dena Wyatt, Ayden and Arleigh Thomason, McKenzie and Evan Klocek, Darice Dean, Regan and Reid.

Birthday wishes are extended to Bonnie Sawyer on Oct. 1, Burns Brown on Oct. 2, Charles Gover, Austin Williams, David Burcham and Ryan Sullivan, all on Oct. 3, David Lockhart on Oct. 4, Jared Thompson on Oct. 8, Audrey Brath and Lacey James, both on Oct. 10. The birthday honorees are members of First Baptist Church Falkville.

Falkville Senior citizens met at KFC in Hartselle for lunch recently. Among those attending were the bus driver, Jackie Turney and the manager, Barbara Asherbranner. Members were Faye Anders, Martha Asherbranner, Becky Burnside, Patsy Clemons, Martha Garrison, Eugene Green and Judy McCellan. Also enjoying the fun-filled day were Robert Morris, Movlyn Roberson, David Scott and Charles and Linda Williams.

Congratulations to the Falkville Blue Devils football team for winning games against Phil Campbell, Decatur Heritage, Addison, Cole Springs, West Morgan and Trrant.

Oct. 28- Breakfast sausage, scrambled egg, hotdog, tater tots, biscuit, biscuit gravy, pancakes, fruit juice, canned fruit.
