Funeral for Turre Bell Williams Fortner, 91, of Falkville was Wed.,  Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brian Wilbanks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery (Morgan County).

Mrs. Fortner died Sat., Oct. 10, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Cullman County to John Thomas Williams and Marietta Rodgers Williams. She was retired. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William “Bill” Fortner; her parents; four brothers; and a sister.

She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Fortner Robinson (Bobby) of Falkville and Sandra Fortner Lacy of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bobby Joe Robinson, Johnny Robinson, Jeff Hemming, Donnie Lowery, Dean Stefanakos and Travis Lacy.
