Funeral for Leoma Hagen, 78, of Eva will be Mon., Aug. 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Eva Cemetery. Visitation will be Sun., Aug. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hagen died Sun., Aug. 16, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Kinsley Kansas to Louis Edmund Rehmert and Ruby Gladys Orrell Rehmert. She loved quilting, cross-stitching, cooking and taking care of her family. She enjoyed attending and quilting at the Eva Senior Center and was a member of The Sewing Sisters and Heartland Quilt Guild in Cullman. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed meeting and talking with people and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Paul H. Hagen of Eva; three sons, Peter Allan Hagen (Teri) of Sherwood, Ore., Philip David Hagen of Wichita, Ks. and Karl Jeffrey Hagen (Laurie) of Eva; a daughter, Nancy Patricia Edmonds (Marty) of Scottsboro; a brother, Larry Rehmert (Dede) of Cassoday, Ks.; eight grandchildren, Ruby Noel, Michael Cole, Mellissa Dawn, Ashley Michelle, Kevin Christopher, Brian Matthew, Britney Lynne, and Brendon Gregory; three great grandchildren, Lucas Ross, Lucas Andrew and Elizabeth Liberty.
