Marty and Amanda Pylant of Athens are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hailey Gabrielle Pylant of Athens to Edward Matthew Conner Sartin of Danville, son of Susan and Daniel Copeland of Hartselle.

Miss Pylant is the granddaughter of Angie Cannon of Ardmore, Buford and Donna Pressnell of Hartselle and John Pylant of Athens and the late Dell Pylant.

She is a 2012 graduate of Life Gate Academy and is attending TBC Texas Bible College.

Mr. Sartin is the grandson of Gary and Sandra Sartin of Danville, Barbara Eaton of Decatur and the late Van Eaton, the late Bob Blackwell, Brenda Copeland and the late J.T. Copeland.

He is a 2012 graduate of Danville High School and is attending Austin Peay State University. He is employed by the U.S. Army.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 1, 2015.
