Funeral for J.E. Peck Jr., 91, of Hartselle will be Mon., July 6, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Shaddix officiating with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in the Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Peck died Thur., July 2, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1923 in Morgan County to James E. Peck Sr. and Susie Elizabeth Jones Peck. He was retired from the Goodyear Mill in Decatur and was a World War II Veteran. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartselle and was a loving husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Preston Peck; and a son, David Anthony Peck.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene Fowler Peck of Hartselle; a son, Mark Preston Peck (Melissa) of Falkville; and a brother, Bill Peck of Somerville; two grandchildren, Brian Peck and Cayla Peck Bowdrey (Bo); and a step-son, Terry Pearson (Kathy) of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
