Decatur man arrested after traffic stop
A Decatur man was taken into custody on Wed., June 10, for owning a pistol when he was prohibited.
Adrian Brandez Crayton, 21, of 1803 Graymont Lane SW, was stopped by the Decatur Police Department Anti-Crime Unit because his car did not have a tag. During the traffic stop, the police identified Creighton and a passenger. They also found a 9 mm handgun in his vehicle. Creighton was previously convicted for a violent felony and is prohibited from owning a pistol.
He was taken to the Morgan County Jail and is being held without bail because he is currently on parole.
