Funeral for Florence L. Hale, 86, of Falkville was Tues., May 12, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. David Hale officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery (Morgan County). Mrs. Hale died Sat., May 9, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born May 28, 1928, in Morgan County to Gaines Washington Williams and Lillie Pearl Harper Williams. She was self employed as an owner-operator of a grocery store. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arlin Hale; her parents; a brother, Billy Williams; and a sister, Lela Gean Williams.

She is survived by a son, Royce Hale; two daughters, Deborah Williams and Martha Nelson (Sammy); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joe Nelson, Daniel Nelson, James Hale, Jerry Holmes, Darryl Williams and Jeremy Oden.
