Decatur traffic stop leads to drug charges
A Decatur woman was arrested Tues., May 5, on drug-related charges.
Kimberly Gail Brand, 27, of 2111 State Ave. SW, was stopped by a Decatur Police Department officer for running a stop sign. The officer discovered ICE, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her vehicle.
Brand has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and running a stop sign. She was taken to Decatur City Jail and later transferred to the Morgan County Jail where she was held on a $4,000 bond.
