James ‘Jim’ Monroe Schrimsher

Funeral for James “Jim” Monroe Schrimsher, 58, of Hartselle will be Wed. , April 29, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Taylor and Bro. Nathan Green officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Mr. Schrimsher will lie in state on Wed. from noon to 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Mr. Schrimsher died Sat., April 25, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born May 2, 1956, in Illinois to Carl Monroe Schrimsher and Martha Margaret Johns Schrimsher. Mr. Schrimsher was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, David Schrimsher.

He is survived by his wife, Betsy Schrimsher; a son, William Monroe Schrimsher; a daughter, Wanda Marie Schrimsher; his father, Carl Monroe Schrimsher; two brothers, Greg Schrimsher and Kenneth Schrimsher.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
