United Way to host fundraisers April 9-11

Morgan County United Way will host “Fore Love and Money” golf and tennis tournaments and a “United We Jam” concert April 9-11 to raise awareness of UW and raise funds for its 30 non-profit programs and agencies.

The golf tournament will tee off Thur., April 9, at 8 a.m. with a four-man scramble at Decatur Country Club. The entry fee is $400 per team. Participants can register online at www.foreloveandmoney,com

The tennis tournament will begin at 5:30 p.m. the same day at Decatur Country Club and Jimmy Johns Tennis Center at Point Mallard Country Club. The entry fee is $35 per player for one division or $50 per player for two divisions. Participants are guaranteed a minimum of two matches. This is a mixed doubles tourney, 6.0/7.0/8.0 with age divisions 18+ and 40+.

The weekend will culminate with the “United We Jam” concert at  Epic Church at 6 p.m. Sat., April 11. The concert features the Rhett Walker Band. General admission seating is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Group discounts are available. Visit www.unitedwejam2015.com.
