Wilma F. Labahn

Wilma F. Labahn, 70, of Danville died March 17, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

A private family funeral will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Labahn was an assistant librarian at Arkansas Tech Univeristy in Russellville, Arkansas for 40 years and retired in June of 2009. She and her husband Charles Labahn, moved to Danville to be close to their daughter and grandkids. After retiring, they traveled the world, from China and Tibet, to Egypt and many countries in Europe.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles R. Labahn; a daughter, Janadah L. Sartin (Gary); and two sweet and loving grandchildren that were close to her heart, Jasmine and Ethan; two step-grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Sartin, a brother, James Fields, (Virginia) of Boonesville, Ark.; a niece, Sharon Fields of San Diego, Calif.; and a nephew, James Fields of Thibodaux, La.

In lieu of flowers, her family is asking that contributions be made to Arkansas Tech University Library or the Charles and Edna Labahn Scholarship Fund at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas.
