Funeral for the Rev. Harvie E. Reynolds Jr., 71, of Hartselle was Tues., March 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Donnel Brown and R.C. Borden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Garden.

Rev. Reynolds died Sat., March 14, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born June 25, 1943, in Creshaw County to Harvie Eugene Reynolds, Sr. and Eunice Fowler Reynolds. He served in the ministry for 43 years and was most recently the pastor at Mt. View Baptist Church in Oden Ridge.

He is survived by his wife, Willow Reynolds of Hartselle; a son, Paul E. Reynolds (Christy) of Cullman; a daughter, Sheila Owens (Jerome) of Eufaula; four grandchildren, Daniell Owens, Lydia Owens, Axell Reynolds and Harley Reynolds; two aunts; and an uncle.

Pallbearers were Chris Brewer, Chris Hale, James Owens, Steve Turney, Justin Turney and Hermit Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Gideons.
