James ‘JL’ Louis Miller

Funeral for James “JL” Louis Miller, 78, of Double Springs will be Thur., March 19, at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs at 7 p.m. with Bro. Rick Moody and Bro. Jeffery Wiggins officiating and Nichols Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home prior to the service.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill #1 Baptist Church Cemetery in Houston.

Mr. Miller died Sun., March 15, 2015, at Walker Baptist Medical Center. He was born April 23, 1936, in Winston County. He was a minute man! He loved his family and received great enjoyment from riding the roads and watching his cats play. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Anice Miller; brother-in-law, Fred Harden, Ronald “Foxy” Key and Ellis Rooks.

He is survived by two sons, Tim Miller (Rhonda) and Kim Miller (Tammy); a brother, Carlton Miller (Jan); sisters, Geneva Harden, Janette Rooks (Windle Martin), Juanita Key, Jewel Pullins (Jerry); a special friend, Wanda Cook; five grandchildren, Amber Miller Comeens (Bradly), Rhett Miller (Alivia), Hallie Miller, Waid Miller, Will Mille; and two great-grandchildren, Reid Bryant Comeens and Brennan Cade Miller.
