Funeral for Fermon H. Overstreet, 93, of Eva was Tues., March 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Eva with Bro. Chuck Oden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Overstreet died Sun., March 15, 2015, at his residence. He was born March 23, 1921, in Morgan County to William Lonzo Overstreet and Candis Lindsey Overstreet. He was retired from General Motors where he worked as a machine operator. He was a lifelong Baptist in his faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Jennifer L. Williams; and three brothers, Felmer, Edward and Fonnie Overstreet.

He is survived by three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
