HCS holding kindergarten registration

Kindergarten registration for children living within the Hartselle city limits will be March 18 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and March 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at each elementary school and the Central Office of Hartselle City Schools.

Students who will be car riders may be registered at either elementary school.  Students who will be riding buses must register within their elementary school district.

Families living outside the Hartselle city limits will apply for enrollment at the Central Office. Out-of-district students are only accepted prior to the beginning of school. A Non-Resident Request to Enroll application should be printed from the Hartselle City Schools website, completed and brought to registration along with other enrollment information.

A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child to registration with the following items: the child’s birth certificate, Social Security card (voluntary), immunization records (blue card), the most recent utility bill and the adult’s drivers license or government issued ID. If the child does not live with both parents, a copy of custody decree is required.

For questions or more information, please call the Hartselle City Schools.
