Funeral for Letrell Montgomery, 81, of Lacey’s Spring was Sat., Feb. 21, at 3 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Craye Hall officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.

Mr. Montgomery died Sat., Feb. 14, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Sat., Nov.18, 1933, in Morgan County to Thad Harvey Montgomery and Georgia Josephine Cloer Montgomery. He was a member and deacon of Valhermoso Baptist Church. He owned and operated a service station. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Montgomery Morrow and two brothers, Bill and Gary Montgomery.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda K. McGee Montgomery; three sons, Mike Montgomery (Patty), David Montgomery and Rickie Montgomery; a daughter, Vickie Montgomery; a stepson, Danny Cunningham; four brothers, Jerry Montgomery, J.T. Montgomery, Harold Montgomery and Milton Montgomery; five grandchildren, Stephen Woods, Kaitlin Kurtz, Mark Montgomery, Rosina Montgomery and Christy Montgomery; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Grace and Abby Grace.
