Funeral for Barbara Stinson, 81, of Falkville was Tues., Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Gable officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Mrs. Stinson died Sun., Feb. 8, 2015, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 15, 1933, in Morgan County to Clarence Young and Merle Martin Young. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by a son, Billy Stinson; her parents; and two sisters, Alice Peek and Shirley Dye.

She is survived by a son, Terry Stinson of Falkville; three daughters, Becky Bennett of Falkville, Wendy Collins of Somerville and Judy Johnson of Shelbyville, Tenn,; a brother, Rathel Young of Falkville; a sister, Betty Riner of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Garland Bennett, Todd Bennett, Alan Stinson, Craig Stinson, Tim Stinson and Darrell Johnson.
