Man charged with pot possession
A Somerville man was caught with marijuana after authorities responded to his home for a domestic disturbance call.
Jeremiah Jett, 24, of 2976 Apple Grove Road in Somerville was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana 1st degree and for the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail on a $5,300 bond.
On Wed., Feb. 4, at 11 a.m., Morgan County Drug Task Force Agents were called to residence located at 2976 Apple Grove Road in reference to a domestic disturbance deputies had responded to.
Upon entering the residence and making contact with the suspect, deputies learned that marijuana located in the residence.
After obtaining a search warrant, agents with the Drug Task Force located a locked large fire safe, one-fourth of ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia items. Agents determined that the suspect sold marijuana to several individuals.
